The stentor will be revised, we need your input!

Our dear Stentor will be revised for UKA's 100th anniversary in 2024. Since the first edition in 1937, the Stentor has been sporadically revised to best cover what is sung in the bodega at any given time. Now new songs will come in, other songs will go out and the format will be refined. For this we need input from all Stentor singers.
The 8th Stentor Commission was appointed in 2020 by the Board of Samfunnet. Erik Sand, Oscar Mork and Ruben Rygh sit on the commission, but the revision will need input and contributions from Ås' many singers, hobby composers, beat stompers and other bodega-goers to result in the best possible version of the Stentor.
For those who are now worried that the Stentor will become flawed and unmistakable, we can reassure you that the Stentor will roughly be the same as before, but some changes are planned. Firstly, the repertoire must be updated. New drinking songs and revision songs will be given their place in the Stentoren, new songs from the many corners of the country have finally reached the Agrarmetropole, and previously removed drinking songs from previous revisions will be given a second chance. Second, some songs are to be removed. The stentor is not an archive of old songs, but a tool meant to be used diligently. In the previous revision, up to 70 association songs were added, and now the commission will make an assessment of which of these songs actually work as good bodega songs. In conclusion, the commission wants to look at the format. We believe that the Stentor should have a natural place in the inner pocket of all Åslanders, but the current format makes this difficult. The commission will consider doing something about this.
Now we want input on which new songs you think should enter the Stentoren. All the classics will of course be included, but perhaps there are some lesser-known songs that you would like to include in the next edition? In general, all input is gratefully received.
The Stentor Commission also wants to add some new illustrations to the 8th Stentor, and we want these to be drawn by Ås students. The illustrations will be printed in black and white and should be in the style of previous stentor illustrations, otherwise the frames are relatively free.
